Privacy Policy

This policy explains what LedgerRows collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and, when you sign in with Google or GitHub, your name and profile picture. We store these and your language preference.
• Statements you convert: the PDF you upload is read in memory to convert it and is never stored. We keep what we extract from it (account names, transactions, balances) so you can view and export the result.
• Usage and billing data: the pages you convert, your subscription status, page balance and order history.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps), kept briefly for security and debugging.

We do not see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe, which shares only the outcome of a payment with us.

Why we use it

To convert your statements, bill you correctly, send transactional email (sign-in codes, receipts, subscription changes), keep the Service secure, and comply with law. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use your statements to train AI models.

How long we keep it

• Extracted transactions: 30 days after the conversion, then deleted. A conversion started before signing in is deleted after 24 hours unless you sign in to claim it.
• Conversion summary (file name, date, page count, whether the balances checked out): 90 days, so your history stays useful after the rows are gone.
• Account data: while your account exists. Deleting your account from Settings removes your profile, conversions and balance; order records may be kept where accounting law requires.

Cookies

We use only cookies the Service needs to work: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and small preference cookies for language. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Who processes it

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. It is shared only with the providers needed to run the Service, each under their own terms:

• AI model provider: the pages of each statement are sent to a large language model (Anthropic's Claude, reached through an API service provider) to read the transactions. They are sent only to produce your conversion.
• Stripe: billing.
• Resend: transactional email.
• Google and GitHub: only if you choose to sign in with them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your data, or to object to processing. You can download your data or delete your account in Settings; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
